This extra pair of cartridges is also to be chilled in a freezer or refrigerator and will provide for a strong cooling effect for more than 1 hour for a simple walk in hot weather with a well insulating garment and for 30 minutes during intense sporting activities.

An immediate cooling time extension is possible (with these 10 chilled additional ice packs) because the rechargeable battery will not need a recharge before 2 – 3 hours of operation, so about double the using time of the ice packs.
